June 17, 2007 - Harrisburg, NC – Team Full Throttle driver development racer Christian Pahud has let the INEX Semi-Pro division know he’s not going to be an easy mark, as he is now ten for eleven in top five finishes in the division so far in his rookie 2007 season. Pahud scored a third place at the opening round of the INEX Summer Shootout at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC, and then followed that up with a third place run at the Caraway Speedway in Asheboro on Friday.

“It’s pretty exciting to be running so well already,” the 14-year old said. “I’m really enjoying the Legends cars. It was an adjustment from the Go-Karts for sure. You have to really manage the throttle in these things. Dan Snyder has taught me and helped me a lot, and I have to thank my family for being so supportive. We ran well at the Shootout last week and missed a couple of wrecks, and that’s how you do well there. I was surprised we started off so well there but it helps us a lot as far as chasing the series championship goes. Caraway was so much fun. The banking there really makes you get up on the wheel. It’s a fast track. I put us in a bind because I didn’t do as well in the heat as I wanted to so we had to start toward the back in the feature. We’ll take two thirds and see if we can do even better this week.”

Christian’s move to the Legends cars also brought relocation to the Charlotte, NC area recently, and the youngster says he couldn’t be more excited. “It still doesn’t seem real,” he smiled. “A lot has happened in such a short time since we decided to go Legends car racing this year and got hooked up with Dan Snyder Racing and Team Full Throttle. I’m really happy to be in North Carolina now. I just hope I can do well enough to keep moving up the ladder to NASCAR!”

The next race for Christian will be Tuesday, June 19th when he takes to the Lowe’s Motor Speedway for round two of the Summer Shootout Series.
